2000 Employee Recognition Awards

Donald Paoli and David Gussack

David Gussack, President, honored several employees for milestones in their years of service with General Bearing Corporation in December at the company’s annual holiday party. Recipients received jewelry and other gifts escalating in value according to years of service. Among the recipients, six received five year awards and three received ten year awards. Four employees were recognized for twenty years of service with the company: Marie Cassy, Assembler; Mildred Floyd, Assembler; Betty Jones, Import Assistant; and Donald Rouse, Materials Manager.

Donald Paoli, Director of Purchasing was honored for twenty-five years of service. During his speech, Donald credited his success and longevity to Seymour Gussack for his vision and leadership. While his modesty is to be admired, it should be said that Donald’s hard work, long hours and dedication to the company over the years contributed greatly to our success.

 Mary Floyd

Mary Floyd, Production Supervisor was named Employee of the Year – 2000. Judging from the reaction of the crowd, there is no doubt that this remarkable woman has fully earned the distinction. This is but one of many honors received by Mary since her employment began in 1963!
