J. Mark Sanders

Senior Engineer – Automotive

Mark Sanders joined General Bearing’s automotive team in September of 2001. Mark is the engineering liaison between GBC engineers in NY and our automotive customers. His responsibilities also include auto motive applications engineering, project coordination and test engineering. Mark obtained his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University in 1991. Upon graduating, he worked for AM General, performing design work for military trucks. In 1992, he began working for Daimler Chrysler where he spent 10 years working as a product engineer specializing in engine mounts, wheel bearings and halfshafts. Mark is married to Dr. Wendy Sanders, and has 4 children, Dylan (10), Maxwell (8), Samantha (6) and Erin (2). In his free time, Mark enjoys cycling, basketball and handyman projects. He participates in the Michigan MS150 Bike Tour every summer to help raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
