Derek Scheefer
Derek Scheefer, Regional Sales RepresentativeDerek Scheefer joined General Bearing in March of 2000 as the Regional Sales Representative for the New England territory, including Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Vermont. Prior to General Bearing, Derek was a Distributor Sales Manager for American Sleeve Bearing for five years. While there, Derek managed the sales activities of the outside sales representatives as well as managing his own territory. Derek worked with the Customer Service Department to ensure excellent customer satisfaction levels.

Due to his success at General Bearing in New England, Derek’s territory was recently expanded to include Upstate New York as well. Derek handles Western NY for OEM customers only, while selling to both OEM and Distributor Accounts in New England. He is the only General Bearing Salesman to call on both Distributors and OEMs.

Derek is a conscientious, hardworking and motivated salesperson who continually strives to provide customers with exceptional service. It is that attribute, which makes Derek a successful salesperson and worthy of increased responsibility and recognition.

Derek is a graduate of LaSalle University with a Bachelors of Arts Degree. Derek and his wife, Julie are now expecting their first child. They reside in Cranston, Rhode Island.
