Sean Kurschat joined General Bearing in August 1998 as our Regional Manager for automotive bearings. His previous automotive experience includes six years with Ford Motor Company’s Powertrain Division. He also worked on the “Hummer” launch team while employed by the U.S. Department of Defense’s TACOM unit.

Utilizing his diverse automotive background, Sean has helped develop significant growth in automotive bearing sales throughout the country. As a result of his efforts, many automotive customers have recognized GBC’s superior product capabilities and cost effectiveness.

Sean says, “Our success in winning Ford’s Q1 award has helped cement GBC’s credibility in the industry. Automobile related sales will continue to grow as cost pressures force the industry to seek high quality bearings at reasonable costs”.

Sean is a 1990 graduate of Oakland University. He obtained his Masters in Manufacturing from GMI Engineering Institute in 1996. Sean resides in Birmingham, Michigan with his wife, Kari and their children, Connor (5) and Gabrielle (2).
