General Bearing Draws Interest at the 16th International Pump Users Symposium

GENERAL BEARING HAS BEEN A SUPPLIER TO THE PUMP INDUSTRY FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW, and in early March we exhibited at the 16th International Pump Users Symposium at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. Being at the show allowed General Bearing to connect with many current customers and distributors.

The Symposium was specifically structured for users to get valuable information about maintenance, performance, troubleshooting, pump operation, and the purchase of pumps from various manufacturers. Because our range of quality products, and customer and technical services was a point of attraction, we were able to increase our exposure to this important industry.

Stacey Freeman, Assistant Sales Manager of our Distribution Division, Marc Yesowitz, Senior Project Engineer, along with Cole Standley and Phil Barnes, of Smith Power Systems, were there to represent GBC. They met with a number of top engineers and purchasing agents from potential customers such as Seltzer Pumps, General Pump, Union Carbide, Shell Oil, BP/Amoco, Exxon, Sunoco, and Conoco.
